The German music star unceremoniously walked away from any further negotiations with Bayern Munich last weekend as Bayern Munich needed time to focus on a deal for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz and Stuttgart refused to accept a low-ball offer from the Bavarian club.

Bayern has informed Nick Waltermade that they are temporarily withdrawing from negotiations with Stuttgart and will not submit a third offer. Waltermade is currently set to return to Stuttgart on July 28 for their training camp in Tegernsee. The player only wants to join Bayern and remains hopeful that the two clubs can reach an agreement. It is now up to Stuttgart whether negotiations will be restarted.

While it doesn’t look good when most of the drama stems from an unnecessary low-ball offer, Bayern Munich is trying to take control of the situation. The problem is that Stuttgart doesn’t seem to care and just wants to keep Waltermade as long as possible.

As for the player, Bayern Munich appears to be hoping that Waltermader and his agent can start putting pressure on Stuttgart to move on, which could help pave the way for Waltermader’s departure in a few weeks if Bayern Munich decides to revisit the situation.
