Celtics boosted by star inquiries

Since Oliver Glasner took over as Crystal Palace manager in the second half of last season, the 31-year-old winger has gradually lost his place in the starting eleven.

He is entering the final year of his contract and has been linked with a move north of the border.

Celtic have reportedly made inquiries with a view to signing him in the ongoing transfer window.

And, to give the Hoops a boost, Crystal Palace are said to be ready to listen to offers for the winger this summer.

He’s not a major part of Glasner’s plans, and the Eagles are prepared to sell the player for the right offer.

Brendan Rodgers is interested in signing a player with 268 Premier League games experience for Celtic.

It remains to be seen whether Celtic can make a financial offer to convince Palace and the player to consider a move.
