Zaha left Crystal Palace on a free transfer last summer to join the Turkish side and won the league title with the club.

However, after just one season in Turkey, he looks set to make a shock return for a third spell at Selhurst Park.

Zaha returns to Crystal Palace on loan

According to the Evening Standard , the two clubs are in talks over a possible loan deal, with reports in Turkey claiming the winger is available.

The report adds that if Crystal Palace are to complete the deal then they will have to offer wages that match Zaha’s current wages, which are believed to be around £170,000-a-week, the same amount Zaha is expected to earn.

Zaha could make a sensational return to Crystal Palace.

Galatasaray reportedly want a loan fee of £9m to cover the Ivorian’s wages and are thought to be happy to let the winger leave if financial terms are agreed.

Zaha rejected a club-record £200,000-a-week contract as Crystal Palace tried to persuade him to stay until the end of the 2022/2023 season, but the 31-year-old decided to leave for Turkey despite offers from Saudi Arabia and Italy Quotation.

The Ivory Coast international made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish giants last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists. Having played twice at Palace, the Ivory Coast international is something of a Palace club player Legendary figure.

The winger has played 458 games for the Eagles and scored 90 goals in two seasons with the club.

Crystal Palace have already added winger Ismaila Sarr this summer, but a loan move for Zaha might make sense, which would undoubtedly make fans happy and go some way to softening the blow of losing Michael Olise .
