Eintracht Frankfurt not asked about Manchester United defender’s situation

Manchester United have just invested in Lenny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt to increase the centre-back options available to Erik ten Hag.

Speculation is growing over Victor Lindelof’s possible exit, with Eintracht Frankfurt seen as suitors.

Turkish club Fenerbahce, currently managed by former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, have also been linked with Lindelof.

However, according to German outlet Fussball.News, Eintracht Frankfurt are yet to make any contact for the Swede.

Lindelof’s annual salary at Old Trafford is 7.3 million euros, which is “difficult” for Frankfurt to achieve.

The defender has also shown no signs of wanting to leave United quickly.

While the transfer window remains open, things could change, but Frankfurt would need Lindelof to give up his salary demands or get help from United to make him affordable.
