Interest in 24-year-old striker to end

After signing Mateus Cunha and Brian Mbemo, Manchester United hopes to complete their attacking trident by introducing a new striker – because head coach Ruben Amorim is not satisfied with the signing ability of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. Ollie Watkins, Benjamin Cesco and Nicolas Jackson are all on Manchester United’s radar, but in the case of the latter, his attention will not last too long.

Manchester United does not plan to sign Nicolas Jackson this summer

According to Football Insider, Mick Brown revealed that Manchester United is expected to end its interest in Jackson because they have no intention of accepting Chelsea’s offer for the Senegalese striker.

“No, I don’t expect that to happen. I would be very, very surprised if United signed Jackson. His temper and mental qualities are worrying, and I don’t think he’s consistent enough on the pitch to allay those concerns.”

“If Chelsea want to get rid of him, it will say something about whether he is suitable for Manchester United. I don’t think he is the type of striker they need and they will consider other options. Especially considering the cost of taking him away from Chelsea.”

“I expect he has signed a long-term contract at Chelsea like all his teammates, so they will not let him go easily, certainly not to Manchester United. Considering the money needed to sign him, they can definitely bring in better players. His performance at Chelsea is not enough to make him an ideal choice for Manchester United.”
