Liverpool competes with Everton and West Ham United for Luiz

However, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Liverpool may also bring in a new midfielder this summer, with Luiz among their targets. The player is eager to leave Juventus after struggling to get consistent playing time last season and failing to participate in preseason, forcing a move.

Juventus is unhappy with him and is preparing to take disciplinary action against him. They are willing to accept a transfer fee of approximately £35 million for his departure.

Luiz, who previously played for Aston Villa and has proven his worth in the Premier League, is only 27 years old. He is a natural deep-lying midfielder who can also provide cover in the box-to-box and corner-back positions.
