Onyango joins Stockport on loan

Everton Under-21 midfielder Tyler Onyango has joined Stockport County on loan for the 2024/25 season.

The 21-year-old, who has previously had brief spells with Burton Albion and Forest Green Rovers, will join Dave Challinor’s side, who won promotion to League One last season.

Onyango joined the Blues’ academy at the age of eight and made his senior debut for the club at the age of 17, when he was a substitute for the final five minutes of an FA Cup fourth round win over Sheffield Wednesday in January 2021. Show up.

In the 2021/22 season, he played three more games for the first team, playing in the Toffees’ Premier League games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Aston Villa.
