Tottenham Hotspur remains eager to sign the Nottingham Forest star

Reporter Graeme Bailey recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur remains keen on signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. Reportedly, Spurs have not given up on the English talent and hope to sign him this summer.
Gibbs-White’s impressive Premier League performances last season
Gibbs-White has performed well for the club from the Midlands, delivering numerous impressive performances in the Premier League. The 25-year-old played 38 games across all competitions for Nottingham Forest last season, contributing seven goals and ten assists.
The English talent is reliable in attack, averaging 1.96 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League with a 34.4% accuracy rate. Gibbs-White is also excellent in possession, achieving a pass completion rate of 78.3% in the English top flight.
His current contract with Nottingham University City expires in the summer of 2027. Therefore, if Tottenham Hotspur wants to sign him this offseason, they have no choice but to meet Nottingham’s requirements.
Tottenham Hotspur remains eager to sign Gibbs-White: Is he worth the chase?
Gibbs-White possesses a sharp long-range shot and is adept at delivering key passes in the final third. He is often quite agile in his movements both inside and outside the opponent’s penalty area.
The English talent primarily operates as an attacking midfielder, but can also operate as a box-to-box midfielder or right winger if needed. He already has some experience in the Premier League and will quickly adapt to life at Tottenham Hotspur.
Gibbs-White will add even more firepower to Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank’s attack. He has the potential to compete for a regular first-team spot at the north London club next season.
At 25, Gibbs-White is in his prime, making him a player worthy of consideration for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window. He is worth the money, so Frank would be wise to go all out to sign him before the start of the new season.
